The clock is ticking, you know that if you don¹t fall asleep straight away, you probably won¹t sleep at all again tonight.. it could be because of anxiety, excitement, a thought or even a catchy tune that prevents you from sleeping initially, as the night goes on, the stress creeps in, you know that if you don¹t sleep again tonight you will feel awful, sick and dizzy, as though you¹ve got flu the next day. Minor issues become seemingly important and everything gets blown out of proportion. Even the silence and the darkness of the night becomes scary, you start to hear things, see things and feel things... spirits.. are you really awake, are you hallucinating or are you dozing?
